Afro-descendants offered Beninese citizenship

 Benin encourages members of the African diaspora to call its shores home by offering citizenship to descendants on those who left the continent far in the past. And the Olympic flame symbolises the light of spirit, knowledge and life. All all of which, Ousman Dieme,  a Senegalese Olympic torchbearer and a former infantryman, has in abundance. The 90 year old fought for France during the world wars.
