Voting stations across Algeria closed Saturday night after an hour's extension for the presidential election expected to bring a second term for incumbent Abdelmadjid Tebboune. The country's election authority said that vote counting so far suggested voter turnout was 48% in Algeria and 19.6% for precincts abroad.
