Arnold Schwarzenegger’s son Joseph Baena wins second bodybuilding title

Joseph Baena, the 28-year-old son of former bodybuilder, actor, and former governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger, has won his second bodybuilding title.

Baena took home gold in the classic physique division at the 2026 INBA Iron Gladiator competition, which he posted about on his Instagram, captioning it: “Your new INBA Iron Gladiator Classic Physique Champion!”

Wielding a sword and a gladiator helmet, Baena proudly stood between his two runner-ups to display his gold medal.

This was Baena’s second victory in a week after he took three gold and a silver medal at the NPC Natural Colorado State competition.

Joseph Baena’s controversial start

Baena’s mother, Mildred Patricia Baena, worked for Schwarzenegger and his then-wife, Maria Shriver, when he was conceived.

His mother, who was also married at the time, was forced to confront the truth as Baena began to look more and more like his father as he grew older.

He is the only one of his five children to walk in his father’s footsteps to become a champion bodybuilder.

His Instagram bio says he is an actor, bodybuilder, cook, and realtor.

Schwarzenegger has two other sons and two daughters from his marriage to Shriver.
