On the day, Caleb scored the three goals from the penalty spot, and thus, becoming the first ever player to score a hat-trick of penalties in a single game in the history of the PSL.
Caleb scored the first of his penalties deep into stoppage time of the first half after being brought down inside the Stellenbosch box.

His second came four minutes after the restart as referee Tshidiso Maruping adjudged Fawaaz Basadien to have handled the ball inside his own box.
The Burundi international would complete his hat-trick in the 56th minute after he was handled and tripped by Mogamad de Goede inside the Stellies box.

For some time now, Chiefs haven’t had a reliable striker to rely on for goals – and the marksman that last gave them that is Samir Nurkovic in his first season.

Last season, Chiefs relied heavily on the combination of Keagan Dolly and Khama Billiat but they didn’t have a striker who was a focal point.
But even with Dolly and Billiat scoring, Chiefs still didn’t have enough quality to compete with their rivals – hence they couldn’t even challenge for the league title.

Now, Caleb appears to be the striker that will give Chiefs at least 10 or more goals in a season, and his presence could make Chiefs the dark horses in the title race.
