Sergio Perez in the second Red Bull was upgraded to second place after Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc was handed a five-second penalty for leaving the track and gaining an unfair advantage in the closing stages.

Due to that penalty, Verstappen did enough to be crowned world champion for a second year running.
