@LeratoN_: “We need to be honest that Mannie Libbok is costing us, and he can’t take penalties. Handré Pollard is a better kicker. If he doesn’t come back, we are f*cked moving forward.”
@ItsBilaso: “South Africa really needs Handre Pollard in such situations.”
‘WE WERE UNLUCKY’
In a post-match interview, Manie Libbok claimed the Springboks were “unlucky” in their defeat by Ireland.
He told ITV: “It was one hell of a game. Ireland brought it to us, but I am proud of the boys for sticking in there and giving it our all. We were unlucky.”
He continued: “Obviously, in a game like this, you have to take your points, and you have to convert pressure into points. Unfortunately, we didn’t get it right.”
