Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu – who made his debut appearance as Stormers captain over the weekend – has been praised for his heartwarming encounter with a young fan.
The 23-year-old – who has been nominated for SA Rugby Men’s Player of the Year – previously captained the Junior Springboks.
SACHA FEINBERG-MNGOMEZULU’S SWEET MOMENT WITH YOUNG FAN
In a viral TikTok post, Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu was seen showing love to a young Stormers fan.
The club captain pulled the little boy over the guard rail, where he signed an autograph and posed for a picture on the pitch with the young boy.
“Sacha made this kid’s day”, the Champion Rugby TikTok account captioned a clip of the encounter.
“True leadership”, it added.

In 2016, when Sacha was a young rugby player at Bishops College, he posed for a picture alongside Siya Kolisi, who played for both the Springboks and the Stormers at the time.
The then-13-year-old flyhalf captioned the clip: “Idols become rivals”.
LONG-TERM CAPTAIN?
Meanwhile, Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu’s first taste of Stormers captaincy is a taste of things to come.
The flyhalf took the reins after regular skipper Salman Moeraat was unavailable.
Stormers boss John Dobson said in a press conference: “He was always earmarked as a future Stormers captain. He’s got both components – the technical game management, and he’s bought into this project.
He added: “We’ve got him here long term, so we must invest in his leadership.”
Sacha has extended his contract with the Stormers until 2029.
