Stressful times have come and gone for Kamohelo Mahlatsi. The former Kaizer Chiefs attacker has joined Marumo Gallants after he was clubless for two months.

NEW HOME

According to FARPost, the Sebokeng-born attacker has signed a one-year deal with Gallants.

“This publication understands that Mahlatsi has signed a one-year contract with an option to extend for a further two years,” the report said.

KAIZER CHIEFS SIGN GOALKEEPER FIACRE NTWARI

Kaizer Chiefs supporters can expect a top-class goalkeeper in Fiacre Ntwari, says Bernard Parker.

The 24-year-old Rwandan goalkeeper left TS Galaxy for Amakhosi at the start of August, becoming Kaizer Chiefs’ second signing after former Orlando Pirates left-back Bongani Sam.

“Fiacre Ntwari was in his first season with TS Galaxy; what a way to introduce himself in the PSL and sign with Kaizer Chiefs,” Bernard Parker said via FARPost.

“And I said to him before the season starts that he needs to have coffee with me, the same thing that Given Msimango did when he moved to Chiefs.

“I would expect that Ntwari takes what he learned at TS Galaxy to Chiefs. He needs to continue doing that. So, all I could say is that I’m yet to have coffee with Ntwari. I believe he will take the number one jersey at Chiefs based on his qualities.

“I know it won’t be easy because he’s competing against two top keepers in Petersen and Bvuma. When he’s got a chance [to play], he needs to compete week in and week out,” the former Kaizer Chiefs forward concluded.

INACIO MIGUEL

Kaizer Chiefs supporters are feeling good about the start of the 2024/24 Betway Premiership. Miguel Inacio is one of the reasons. How’s how he decided to join Amakhosi.

Amakhosi have made seven new signings and the latest is the 28-year-old Angolan central defender Inacio Miguel.

“The Portuguese-born defender was an integral part of the Petro de Luanda team that participated in the Caf Champions League and won Angola’s domestic league title last season. He has also appeared five times in Angolan national team colours,” Kaizer Chiefs said, as quoted by TimesLIVE.

The club’s Sporting Director, Kaizer Motaung Jr added to say:

“We are happy to have a player of Inácio Miguel’s calibre join our team. We’ve watched him and believe his experience, skill and passion for the game embody the spirit of Chiefs and will add a lot of positives in the team.

“We believe he will contribute significantly with his talent and we are looking forward to working with him as he writes another chapter of his career in South Africa,” Motaung Jr concluded.

DECISION TO JOIN KAIZER CHIEFS

Speaking to the media this week, Inacio revealed that his former Petro de Luanda teammate, Hugo Marques, who also played for Cape Town City, encouraged him to sign for Kaizer Chiefs.

“He just told me, don’t think twice. You know, Kaizer Chiefs is the biggest club in South Africa, in Africa, [and] world recognised,” Miguel said via iDiskiTimes.

“And if I want something different in my career and a new challenge, there is no better club to go and try to do something different.
