‘Everything is targeted now’: FRANCE 24 reports from Lebanon’s war-torn Nabatieh
Israel is continuing to strike what it says are Hezbollah targets across Lebanon. It ordered residents of Nabatieh, in the south, to evacuate at the beginning of October and since then has carried out an intensive campaign of air strikes in the centre, one of which killed the city’s mayor. FRANCE 24’s Catherine Norris Trent, Amar al-Hameedawi and Jenna Le Bras gained rare access to Nabatieh and found an eerily empty city, with only a few residents remaining alongside emergency workers coming under fire.
