Attacked by a male and female
According to preliminary investigations, the victim was allegedly attacked by a male and female suspect who had requested the services of an e-hailing driver in Pretoria West.
Police later recovered the hijacked vehicle and the victim’s body in Atteridgeville on the same day.
The female suspect is expected to appear before the Atteridgeville Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
She faces charges including car hijacking and murder.
Police say investigations are ongoing as they continue efforts to locate the second suspect allegedly involved in the crime.
