Five Thai hostages released by Hamas

Five Thai farm labourers, held hostage for nearly 16 months in the Gaza Strip, were released by Hamas on Thursday during a truce between Israel and the Palestinian militant group. They were released along with three Israelis. On October 7, 2023, after the unprecedented attack by Hamas militants on Israel, 31 Thais were taken to the Gaza Strip as hostages.
