Formula One 2024: When is the next grand prix in Canada?

The 2024 Formula One season will feature a record 24 races, the ninth of which will take place in Montreal, Canada.

The opening two races of the season took place in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia and were both won in dominant fashion by Red Bull’s defending world champion Max Verstappen.

The third race saw Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz come out on tops at the Australian Grand Prix.

Verstappen was back to winning ways in Japan and China, before Lando Norris claimed his maiden victory in Miami.

Verstappen returned to the top step of the podium at Imola.

Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc then clinch a home grand prix in yawn-fest at the Monaco Grand Prix last Sunday.

The season’s next race will take place at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Canada on Sunday, 9 June.

The lights will go out at 20:00 (SA time).

As a reminder, the 2023 race was won by Verstappen with Fernando Alonso in his Aston Martin in second place. Lewis Hamilton in his Mercedes took third place.
