Manchester City striker Erling Haaland is making a mockery of the Premier League.
The giant Norwegian has now scored 14 goals after eight games, an all-time record at this stage of atop-flight campaign.

Almost unbelievably, he’s struck hat-tricks in each of his last three home games in the competition. His treble yesterday in a 6-3 win over Manchester rivals United followed hat-tricks against Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace.
Just for sake of good measure, Cristiano Ronaldo’s three hat-tricks in the English top flight took the five-time Ballon d’Or winner 232 games. Haaland has needed just eight. Ronaldo was an unused substitute for United at the Etihad.

Haaland fastest to three EPL hat-tricks
Erling Haaland took just eight EPL games to bag a hat-trick of hat-tricks. The next quickest man to achieve that feat was Michael Owen who did so in 48 matches. Whatever Premier League scoring records you can imagine – they’re probably not safe with Man City’s new number 9 around.
Surely it can’t be too much longer until Haaland enters his name into the Ballon d’Or equation? The 22-year-old has scored 17 times in 10 competitive games for the English champions.
