ICC To evaluate Pakistan’s 2025 Champions Trophy Preparations
The delegation will evaluate Rawalpindi, Lahore, and Karachi for five days. This should be the last major inspection before the tournament.
The team will prioritize practice venues, ticketing, and Champions Trophy scheduling. This delegation will discuss these issues with the Pakistan Cricket Board.
The PCB has allocated Rs12.80 billion for major upgrades and renovations at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium, Karachi’s National Bank Cricket Arena, and Rawalpindi International Cricket Stadium for the tournament. Upgrades ensure venues meet international standards and provide a world-class experience for players and spectators.
Former ICC pitch consultants and security experts visited Pakistan to evaluate event preparation. The full delegation will investigate any remaining issues during their visit.
Pakistan defeated India in the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy final, so returning after eight years is special. Pakistan will prove it can host major international cricket tournaments and improve its cricketing reputation.
Under six months away, the PCB and ICC are planning and executing every detail for a memorable Champions Trophy.
