Iran summons French envoy over minister's 'insulting' Cannes comments
Iran on Sunday summoned the French charge d'affaires in Tehran after France’s foreign minister called filmmaker Jafar Panahi’s triumph at the 78th Cannes Film Festival “a gesture of resistance against the Iranian regime’s oppression", state media reported.
