He tells us what lessons have been learned from the November 13, 2015 terrorist attacks in Paris, and what is being done at the EU level to counter threats. He also warns of the need for heightened vigilance, because even though the so-called "ISIS caliphate" ended in 2019, the group has been "agile in adjusting its strategy" and is "focusing on the online environment to recruit individuals in the EU", he explains.
