Israeli government estimates more than a third of the 250 Gaza hostages are dead

More than a third of the 250 hostages kidnapped in the October 7 Hamas attack may already be dead, an Israeli government tally revealed on Tuesday. Four more hostages were declared dead by the Israeli military on Monday, including three men seen in a video pleading for Hamas to release them.
