Jewish family brings France to trial over Baghdad embassy
A Jewish family is suing France over its embassy in Baghdad. It seeks compensation for what it says is France's use of property and unproper rent pay. The house was seized alongside with other property of Jewish Iraqis in the 1950s. France argues that is this is a problem with Iraqi law and should be dealt with in an Iraqi court. But the family cannot go to Iraq as it is illegal for Jews to go there. FRANCE 24's Shirli Sitbon tells us more.
