RIVEIRO – ‘I DON’T KNOW WHAT IT MEANS’

“I don’t know exactly what it means ‘co-coaching’, I can’t have a well structured opinion about the coaching if I don’t know the term,” Riveiro said on Marawa Sports Worldwide.

“I don’t know inside, how they will deal with different situations especially with the decisions, I think in my case as a coach, as a head coach that’s probably the only difference with the people who [are] around me including the players is that [at] the end of the day I have to make decisions.

“That’s probably the only difference, everything else is open to discuss but the final decision is mine. So I don’t know how they deal with that in a co-coaching.

“In the end if you manage to get results with two or three or four coaches, then the formula is working well, if you don’t, then we will say that is because of the co-coaching and not maybe other things.

“So [it’s] difficult for me to have an opinion about it.”
