The Glamour Boys are on the hunt for new recruits in the final third, and they’ve been linked with a host of attackers. Let’s quickly refresh out memories

Ranga Chivaviro, scorer of 17 goals across al comps, is in demand after being relegated with Marumo Gallants. At 30 years old, is he a good fit for the project? Then there’s 28-year-old Fiston Mayele who’s been scoring goals for fun in a Young Africans jersey. He bagged 31 across all comps this term, but there’s interest in him from Sundowns too.

Local wide men are lekker for Chiefs?

Another man who Chiefs have shown a long-standing interest in is Golden Arrows man Pule Mmodi. Also the wrong side of 30, but he was named in Hugo Broos’ preliminary 34-man Bafana squad to face Morocco. Two younger options for Amakhosi are 22-year-old Ashley Cupido, who’s still hopeful of promotion to the PSL with Cape Town Spurs, and the DStv Prem’s joint-top scorer Khanyisa Mayo. The 24-year-old recently signed a new contract with Cape Town City, however, and won’t come cheap.
