Wandile Duba has undoubtedly done the most in the Chiefs development teams, including the DStv Diski Challenge over the last 12 months or so.
This week, Duba formed part of the Chiefs squad that played in the Engen Champ of Champs at Marks Park Sports Club.

And the attacker didn’t disappoint as he scored very important goals that carried Chiefs to the final, and eventually led to them winning the trophy.
Duba again raised his hand for Arthur Zwane and his Chiefs technical team to recognise him as he netted six goals in the six matches the team played during the three-day tournament.

The speedy attacker netted a brace against Dream Team FC in Amakhosi’s 2-0 win on the opening day before scoring a hat-trick in the 3-0 win over Chippa United on the same day.
Duba would then score the first of the two goals Chiefs registered in the 2-1 win over Cape Town City in the final of the Engen Champ of Champs.

In July, Duba was instrumental as Chiefs lifted the DStv Diski Shield Cup as he netted three times and walked away with attacker of the tournament.
And with his recent exploits, Duba will hope to, at least, be invited to the first team for Zwane and his technical team to have a closer look at him.

WHICH STARLETS HAVE KAIZER CHIEFS PROMOTED IN RECENT SEASONS
Just recently, Chiefs promoted Mduduzi Shabalala from their development, handing him a three-year deal after his impressive performances in the Diski Challenge.
Shabalala’s promotion was followed by that of Samkelo Zwane who is a solid 21-year-old midfielder.
Zwane made a cameo appearance in the Macufe Cup, and he was included in the matchday squad for the clash against Swallows on Wednesday.
Those are just the two youngsters to mention but the list is long with Nkosingiphile Ngcobo, Keletso Sifama, Darrel Macheke, and Sabelo Radebe among many others.
