New Kaizer Chiefs midfield schemer Yusuf Maart has called for calm ahead of tonight’s clash with SuperSport United.

The Soweto giants have made a mediocre start to the new DStv Premiership season with just two wins and five goals from their first seven outings.

27-year-old Maart has quickly become a regular in the engine room for Arthur Zwane’s side, following a recent move from Sekhukhune United.

“It’s still early in the league, and everyone is still trying to find their feet and eventually we will get to where we want to be.”

“As a footballer you can’t panic, you can’t play with fear. If you play with fear, you won’t enjoy yourself and you won’t get what you want. We are getting there and eventually we will get it right. The mood is excellent in the camp.” says Maart.

Chiefs face SuperSport United tonight in a Gauteng Derby at FNB Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 8pm.
