Lebanon’s caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati, who is returning from New York where he was attending the UN General Assembly, is to hold an exceptional cabinet meeting at 7:30pm Saturday “as soon as he lands”, FRANCE 24’s Rawad Taha said, adding that the official stand of the Lebanese government is to seek de-escalation and the full implementation of a ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah.
