Live: Crimea now ‘only Ukrainian region’ Russia fully controls
Ukrainian forces have regained complete control of the village of Bilohorivka in the eastern Luhansk region and are now preparing to retake the whole province, according to Luhansk’s Ukrainian governor Serhiy Gaidi. Ukraine’s rapid counter-attack in the east means that Crimea – annexed by Russia in 2014 – is now the only Ukrainian region fully controlled by Russia.
