Ahead of the release of her upcoming album, From a God to a King, platinum-selling singer Kelly Khumalo has been giving fans a taste of what they can expect at the album launch in Gauteng on Saturday 17 September. While performing at a show over the weekend, Khumalo helped one of her fans propose to their partner in front of hundreds of people!

COUPLE GETS ENGAGED AT KELLY KHUMALO’S PERFORMANCE
Over the weekend, Kelly Khumalo opened her heart to Judy Leshabane, a woman who watched the singer perform with her partner. In a video shared on Instagram on Monday 12 September, Leshabane brought her partner on stage during Kelly’s performance and had an important question for her…
“100 of you are here… I love this woman and I want to ask her one question,” she said before taking something out of her pocket.
“Will you please do me the honours and make me the happiest woman. Will you please marry me?” asked Leshabane.
After Lesbanane went down on one knee, her partner accepted the marriage proposal and Kelly Khumalo sang her hit song, Ngathwala Ngaye, featuring Mondli Ngcobo.
“I’m still in awe of what you did and congratulations to both you and your fiancée,” wrote Kelly on Instagram.

Kelly Khumalo is set to launch her upcoming album, From a God to a King, at the Big Top Arena at Carnival City on 17 September. The evening is set to be hosted by Kelly’s close friend, Somizi Mhlongo.
The likes of Sjava, Zakwe, Hlengiwe Mhlaba and Mondli Ngcobo are set to perform.
