Ryan Hunt has officially joined Sundowns as an assistant to Berg as the club looks to dominate South African football for years to come.

Hunt took to his social media platforms to share the good news with his followers as he’s about to start his new job at the reigning DStv Premiership champions.

“I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as assistant Sporting Director at Mamelodi Sundowns,” wrote Hunt on LinkedIn.

WHO IS NEW MAMELODI SUNDOWNS ASSISTANT SPORTING DIRECTOR?

Hunt was most recently contracted to Stellenbosch FC whom he worked for way before their promotion to the DStv Premiership in May 2019.

He spent four years at Stellies where he served as their Data Specialist and Talent Identification and recently Head of Technical Analysis.

However, that’s not where Hunt’s football journey started. As part of gaining experience, Hunt started out as an U11 coach at Durbanville FC.

He later joined Bridgehouse College as their U15 and U17 coach before his experience took him to Stellenbosch FC when they were still in the now Motsepe Foundation Championship.
