Mayotte authorities were racing on Tuesday to help survivors of the deadly Cyclone Chido that devastated the archipelago in a race against time to prevent the spread of hunger, disease and chaos. So far, 22 deaths and more than 1,400 injuries have been confirmed in the French overseas territory.
