The irrepressible Lionel Messi brought up yet another milestone for Argentina last night. One lucky fan got a souvenir of the momentous occasion.

The 36-year-old is just the sixth man in history to clock 100 wins at international level.

Messi joins the 100 club for wins at international level

Argentina is now unbeaten since 2019, a sequence of 36 matches. They can beat Italy’s all-time record of 37 unbeaten if they avoid defeat in their first three games of the 2022 World Cup group stages. Messi scored a brace off the bench in Albiceleste’s 3-0 win over Jamaica last night, their final match before the World Cup.
