Michael Jackson’s ex feels ‘partly to blame’ for his death [watch]

Michael Jackson’s former wife has shockingly hinted that she was partly to blame for his death.

Speaking on the TMZ investigation, Who Really Killed Michael Jackson, Debbie Rowe, 63, broke down when she admitted she regrets not doing more to help the King of Pop when he became addicted to painkillers.

‘IN SOME WAY I WAS A PART OF IT’

In the documentary, which will air on 6 September on Fox, an emotional and tearful Rowe can be heard saying she is partly to blame for Jackson’s passing in 2009.

“I should have done something and I didn’t.

“There is a number of people that died from addictions and in some way I was part of it,” Rowe says.

The Thriller singer died of a cardiac arrest in June 2009 at the age of 50. The autopsy report revealed that there was enough of the powerful sedative Propofol in his system to put down a rhinoceros, ex-LAPD coroner Ed Winter told the documentary.

MICHAEL JACKSON AND DEBBIE ROWE’S RELATIONSHIP

Rowe, an American nurse, married Jackson in a secret wedding in Sydney, Australia, in 1996. She was a surrogate mother to the star’s two oldest children Prince and Paris. They divorced three years later in 1999.

According to the Daily Mail, Jackson and Rowe met 15 years before their marriage, while he was having treatment for his skin condition. At the time, Rowe was a nursing assistant to Beverley Hills dermatologist Dr Arnold Klein, who died in 2015.

Dr Klein would give the Billy Jean hitmaker Demerol and other strong painkillers and wrinkle filler drugs like Botox and Restylane.

“I was basically as bad as him [Klein] and I am so sorry I participated in it,” Rowe also says in the documentary.

WAS DR MURRAY THE ONLY DOCTOR TO BLAME FOR MICHAEL JACKSON’S DEATH?

Following the multi-award-winning singer’s death, his personal physician at the time, Dr Conrad Murray, was jailed for involuntary manslaughter.

The 69-year-old heart surgeon, who only began working for Jackson in 2006, was released from prison in 2013 having served half of his four-year sentence.

According to reports, he had administered Jackson various drugs to help him sleep on the night of his death.

However, in the new documentary, it is revealed that other doctors had been giving Jackson drugs dating back to 1984 when he was given opioids and never taken off. His drug addiction became so bad that he had 19 aliases he used to score drugs, the producer of the documentary says.

Speaking in the TMZ documentary, Murray says “I will always love Michael” even though he believes it “was not right” that he took sole blame for the legend’s death.
