Orlando Pirates to use two number 10s?

Orlando Pirates delivered a big statement of intent by signing Kermit Erasmus and Nbabayithethwa Ndlondlo on deadline day. The next question is how to fit them both into the side without disrupting too much of the existing rhythm and chemistry. One option is for Riveiro to operate with two number 10s.

With Erasmus and Ndlondlo both enjoying the number 10 role, and the imminent arrival of Ndumiso Mabena, Pirates have plenty of attacking quality in central areas. Riveiro’s system of three at the back sees his wing-backs provide the width, Pirates don’t need conventional wingers and can stack the central areas with technical, creative players.
