Paris sees vast security operation in countdown to Olympics
Around 45,000 members of the French security forces are set to be on duty when the Olympics kick off on Friday. The French capital has implemented a large number of security measures including sealing off certain parts of central Paris along the banks of the river and around Olympic venues which can only be accessed with a ticket or a special QR code.
