1.Extreme high fire danger conditions expected over the north-eastern parts of the Northern Cape, and the western parts of the Free State and North West Provinces.

Temperature and UVB forecast
Gauteng:
Temperature: Fine and warm.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Extreme.
Mpumalanga:
Temperature: Fine and cool to warm.
Limpopo:
Temperature: Partly cloudy in the east at first, otherwise Fine and warm to hot.
North-West Province:
Temperature: Fine and warm to hot. It will be windy in the western parts.
Free State:
Temperature: Fine and warm. It will be windy in the southern parts.
Northern Cape:
Temperature: Partly cloudy and cool to cold in the morning in the west, otherwise fine and warm to hot. It will be windy in the extreme eastern parts.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southerly to south-easterly.
Western Cape:
Temperature: Fine in the extreme north-east, otherwise cloudy and cool to cold with light rain and isolated showers but scattered in the extreme south-western parts. It will become partly cloudy in the northern interior in the afternoon.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south-westerly to westerly south of Saldanha Bay at first, otherwise light to moderate southerly to south-westerly becoming south-easterly to easterly south of Cape Point from late afternoon.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Moderate.
Eastern Cape:
The Western half –Partly cloudy and cool but cold in places in the south with light rain along the coast. It will become cloudy over the interior, south of the escarpment in the afternoon.
The Western half -Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate south-westerly becoming moderate south-easterly in the afternoon.
The Eastern half -Partly cloudy and cool with light rain along the coast from midday. It will become cloudy over the interior, south of the escarpment from the late afternoon.
The Eastern half -The wind along the coast will be moderate south-westerly becoming moderate south-easterly in the afternoon.
Kwazulu-Natal:
Temperature: Fine and warm, but cool in the south-west. It will become cloudy in the afternoon with isolated showers along the coast and adjacent interior.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate north-easterly, becoming south-westerly from the south, spreading northwards towards afternoon.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Very high.
