Russia and Ukraine free 95 POWs each in latest prisoner exchange
A total of 190 soldiers held captive in Ukraine and Russia have been released in a prisoner exchange mediated by the United Arab Emirates, officials from Kyiv and Moscow said Wednesday. Russian President Vladimir Putin said in June that Russia had detained 6,465 Ukrainian POWs, and that 1,348 Russian soldiers were being held in Ukraine.
