Rwandan former doctor goes on trial in France accused of genocide
A former doctor, Eugene Rwamucyo, 65, goes on trial Tuesday for alleged genocide during Rwanda's 1994 massacre of Tutsis by the Hutu majority. Accused of aiding anti-Tutsi propaganda and mass murder, Rwamucyo is charged with genocide, complicity, crimes against humanity, and conspiracy. He practiced medicine in France and Belgium after leaving Rwanda.
