Saudi Arabia on Sunday kicked off worldwide Eid al-Fitr celebrations to mark the end of the fasting month of Ramadan. UN chief Antonio Guterres wished the Muslim community happy holidays, but said he did so with a heavy heart because many Muslims “won't be able to celebrate Eid with their families due to war, conflict or displacement”.
