Nuwan Thushara, a Sri Lankan fast bowler, broke a finger in his left hand at training and will miss the T20I series against India. Team manager Mahinda Halangoda confirmed the non-bowling hand injury. However, it is bad enough to rule him out. Halangoda said the injury happened late Wednesday during Sri Lanka’s lit training. Thushara practiced fielding. He is the second Sri Lanka fast bowler out of the series. Sri Lanka replaced Dushmantha Chameera with Asitha Fernando on Wednesday due to illness.
