End of the road for Bolivian star at Mamelodi Sundowns?
“Unfortunately, it hasn’t worked out the way everyone had hoped and the club I’m told are ready to cut ties with him at the end of the season,” an insider at Mamelodi Sundowns told Citizen.
“You never know in football and things can change quickly and he might get game time and do well but at the moment, talk is that he will be let go at the end of the season to try and get his career back on track elsewhere.”

And now, according to the latest reports, a European giant has tabled a R55 million offer for star striker Iqraam Rayners.
Rayner joined the Brazilians at the beginning of the season from Stellenbosch FC in a deal worth over a reported R10 million.
In his opening 15 matches for Mamelodi Sundowns, Rayners has already scored 12 goals for the club.
And now, reports suggest he could already be on his way out at Chloorkop!
Rangers table massive offer for Downs star
Scottish giants Rangers FC have reportedly tabled a R55 million offer for Bafana Bafana striker Iqraam Rayners!
“It’s true the offer is there and it’s around R55 million but you know it’s the Sporting Director (Flemming Berg) who deals with such things,” – an insider told Soccer Laduma.
“He is the one in charge of the dealings at the club and the others do contracts and daily running only. But as far as the outgoings and the incomings are concerned, it’s the Sporting Director and the offer came through his office but it’s there at Sundowns.”
Was Saavedra given a fair chance at Chloorkop?
