‘Sundowns will score THREE goals against Pirates’ – Khanye

Former Kaizer Chiefs star Junior Khanye has predicted Mamelodi Sundowns to beat Orlando Pirates.

The two teams meet this Sunday afternoon at the FNB Stadium. The Buccaneers need a win to close the gap on Masandawana.

Speaking on iDiskiTV, Khanye said Pirates were under pressure to win which will make them play under the hands of Sundowns.

“Another disadvantage for Orlando Pirates is that they took the game to FNB Stadium. It suits Sundowns more as they are very clinical with their passes, movement of the ball and they will do as they want. If Pirates play an open game, they will get beaten 3-0 or 4-0.

Khanye tips Sundowns to hammer Pirates again

“Going into the game, I see Sundowns winning 3-0 and I’m not going to be scared to say that. I think Pirates will create chances, I don’t think they will sit back. But I don’t think they have the type of players who can match Sundowns, they way they play, they can’t defend like Sundowns. They concede every match,” Khanye added.

Pirates and Sundowns played last month and the Brazilians emerged 4-1 victors at the Loftus Versfeld.

“I see Shalulile [Peter] and Ribeiro [Lucas] scoring and maybe Rayners [Iqraam] might score as well. I don’t see Pirates scoring. They will try to win but they will get hammered,” he said.
