A teacher at an Eastern Cape school allegedly forced young boys to masturbate and ejaculate into a container, according to reports. The man has since been suspended and his arrest is imminent, say police.

A provincial police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Majola Nkholi, said two counts of sexual assault are under investigation by the FCS [Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences] Unit.

A male teacher from Mdingi Junior Secondary School is believed to be the wanted suspect. His arrest is imminent.

Two cases have been opened against the teacher after two boys told their parents their teacher sexually assaulted them between February and October 2022.

Eastern Cape Education Department spokesperson, Malibongwe Mtima, said the department received word of the complaint from the two learners last week and further investigation revealed “other possible victims in grades 6, 7, 8 and 9.”

“It is alleged that the teacher made learners masturbate and took their semen… We are not sure what the intentions were; the investigations are still underway. He was suspended,” said Mtima.
