Prince Harry’s memoir has been postponed until next year following the death of his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II on Thursday 8 September.

PRINCE HARRY’S MEMOIR DELAYED UNTIL NEXT YEAR

The Duke of Sussex Prince Harry’s memoir will only be published in 2023. This follows the death of his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II on Thursday 8 September.

The memoir is believed to have cast a shadow over the Royal family for months and is set to be released in late 2022. The intention was believed to be to cash in on the Christmas market.

However, the book has reportedly been delayed as it would be seen as disrespectful to the late Queen. A source told Telegraph that the delay would allow Prince Harry to update the book with additional chapters on his grandmother’s death.

A source tells Page Six that the big question is “Is Harry taking out anything potentially bad he wrote about [William, Charles and Camilla] now? Who knows what will change”.

However, Prince Harry reportedly would not say anything bad about the Queen.

“He would never write anything bad about the Queen. He always has had the utmost love and respect for her,” continued the source.

TOM BOWER WEIGHS IN

Reports of the memoir’s delay follow Tom Bower’s comments on Prince Harry’s memoir. Bower whose biography of Meghan Markle was released earlier this year, said that Prince Harry “insisted” the original date be honoured.

“I am told tonight that Harry is insisting that his book is published in November. Apparently the publishers are not too certain, but he says if they don’t publish it will be a breach of contract. That’s what I’m told,” said Bower in an interview with GB News.

“It’s extraordinary. But on the other hand it fits the bill, because Harry and Meghan’s finances depend entirely on the book and on Netflix. And also, I think they are convinced they’re in the right and they want to get their own back,” continued Bower.
