Why My Whole Family Loves ALDI's Sparkler Pops
Out of the box, ALDI's Sparkler Pops aren't quite as photogenic as their brand-name counterpart—their shape is wider and shorter, and the colors are less vibrant. Still, my family absolutely devoured an entire box in one evening, and I had to go back for more—the flavors of each layer of pop were distinct and brightly fruity, not cloyingly sweet.
I’m not sure if these pops have a lower sugar content than other popsicles, but they did have an icier texture and tasted best when they sat out at room temperature for just a minute or two. The more stout shape of the popsicles seemed to make them easier to eat too, especially for some of our younger neighborhood friends.
