‘There’s nothing more to say about Chiefs’ – Brian Baloyi

Kaizer Chiefs legend Brian Baloyi says the two co-coaches are to blame for Amakhosi's poor form in the past six weeks or so.

‘There’s nothing more to say about Chiefs’ – Brian Baloyi

Kaizer Chiefs legend Brian Baloyi is not convinced by the club’s co-coaches following four consecutive defeats across all competitions.

Khalil Ben Youssef and Cedric Kaze took over at Amakhosi in October, but they have already lost in three cup competitions and currently find themselves out of contention for the Betway Premiership.

Baloyi believes that the main issue at the club this season has been the coaching staff.

“There’s nothing more to say about Chiefs. A lot has been said many times. Clearly, they don’t take any comments or advice from legends seriously,” he told FARPost.

Baloyi blames Chiefs coaches

“They should just do the right thing. Yes, it’s clear the problem is with the coaches; they have the players.

“Best squad they have assembled in a long time, and the coaches have failed to use the players they have. I have said it before, I don’t know how to explain it anymore,” Baloyi added.

Last month, Baloyi questioned the constant changes to the Kaizer Chiefs starting line-up, suggesting the instability points to deeper coaching issues at the club.

“The co-coaches must stop being secretive; they must tell us if these changes are injury-forced or if it is just changes. Are they trying to find something?” he said.

“Clearly, this is an amateur team. This is a Philly’s Games team, we can’t call this a professional team if they haven’t had the same starting lineup,” Baloyi said on the current Chiefs team.

Amakhosi are in action this weekend as they look to get back to winning ways.
