The three people accused of murdering an e-hailing driver have abandoned their bail application in the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court.

Magistrate Christopher Chokwe postponed the matter to 23 February 2026 for further investigation.

Remain behind bars

According to police, preliminary investigations indicate that the victim was allegedly murdered by a man and a woman who had requested an e-hailing ride last Wednesday in Pretoria West.

A third accused is also linked to the case.

The trio were remanded in custody and will remain behind bars until their next court appearance.
