Trump departs Canada G7 summit a day early, White House cites Mideast tensions

US President Donald Trump left the G7 summit in Canada a day earlier than planned on Monday. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said in a post on X that he had left in order to deal with the Israel-Iran conflict. Israel has been putting pressure on the US to intervene militarily.
