US President Donald Trump said Friday he expected Iran to negotiate a deal to avoid military action from Washington even as he warned of a US military buildup in the region "larger than what we had in Venezuela". Iran's top diplomat earlier said Tehran was ready to negotiate but not on its defence and missile capabilities.
