KAIZER CHIEFS DELIVER SECOND DSTV PREMIERSHIP DRAW

As The South African website reported last week, the Amakhosi traveled to Rustenburg’s Royal Bafokeng Stadium to face Marumo Gallants.

The result was a rather disappointing 1-1 draw that left millions of Amakhosi fans fuming impatiently.

Gallants’ Mahaltse Makudubela took the lead in the first half before Zitha Kwinika headed in the equaliser on 84 minutes.

COACH ARTHUR ZWANE KEEPS THE FAITH

Speaking after the disappointing performance and result, coach Zwane has said a change of results and goals are on the way.

“We’ll keep grinding, unfortunately, we couldn’t get the maximum points, and we know we could have done better, things will change for the better,” Zwane said as quoted by iDiskiTimes.

“There is a light beyond the dark tunnel, we are getting into the final third entry, we’re not just… yes, even though today we were a little bit flat in terms of energy levels, but we still have more goal-scoring opportunities than them.

“Even before the [red card] we could have still done better, in terms of being clinical, punishing them, we don’t take those chances. Until we still start taking them, then ya…”
