The tumultuous relationship between the young Nigerian man and his American wife is over
The notoriously toxic marriage between 90 Day Fiance‘s Angela Deem and Michael Ilesanmi is officially over.
A cheerful Ilesanmi made the announcement on social media, right outside the court.
With papers in hand, the 36-year-old Nigerian wore a tan suit and stood in the parking lot of the court where his marriage to Deem, the 60-year-old American who brought him to the US, was dissolved.
The hot-tempered and outspoken Deem was in the news in 2024 after she reported Ilesanmi missing after he fled her house after he arrived in the US.
Many opposed their union, especially because of their massive age difference.
“Finally, I’m divorced. This is the paperwork,” Ilesanmi says as he lifts the documents.
He then points towards the building for the cameraman to record.
“That’s the courthouse, right here in Hazlehurst, Georgia. And I wanna say thank you to each and every one for the love and support. It hasn’t been an easy journey, but I wanna say a big thank you to everybody. God Bless you all,” continues Ilesanmi.
“I’m officially divorced. Thank you, Father God… Single life, here I come,” Ilesanmi signs off before doing a victory dance.
Deem and Ilesanmi married in January 2020 and separated in 2024.
