South African rugby player Elton Jantjies was sent back home from Argentina after he allegedly had an affair with the Springbok’s dietitian Zeenat Simjee
1. ZEENAT IS ALLEGEDLY HAVING AN AFFAIR WITH ELTON
The Springboks dietitian Zeenat Simjee is allegedly having an affair with the team’s fly-half Elton Jantjies according to a report by Rapport. The pair were sent back home to South Africa from Argentina.
“The Springbok management are aware of reports regarding Springbok fly-half Elton Jantjies and team dietician Zeenat Simjee between the training camp in Sabie and the Test match against New Zealand in Mbombela earlier this year,” read a statement from the Springboks.
“No team protocols were breached, but the individuals are returning to South Africa to attend to these personal reports and to eliminate any distractions to the team’s preparations for the Test against Argentina,” continued the statement.

Rapport also reported that several sources were made to feel awkward when Simjee and Janties were making noises at their guest house throughout the night and into the early hours of the morning.
Jantjies is married to Iva Ristic and has three children.

2. SHE IS A DIETICIAN
So, who is Zeenat? She is a dietician by profession and has been working as the Springbok’s dietician since May 2019.

The dietician lives in the city of Cape Town, Western Cape.
4. SHE HAS A BACHELOR’S DEGREE FROM STELLENBOSCH UNIVERSITY
According to her LinkedIn account, Zeenat has a Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics from Stellenbosch University.
5. ZEENAT IS BILINGUAL
According to Zeenat’s LinkedIn account she speaks both English and Afrikaans.
