There are so many great Limassol Airbnb choices, it’s hard to know where to begin. Limassol is quite a large city with around 10km of beautiful coastline, so it’s important to choose your Airbnb in Limassol wisely.
Limassol is roughly divided into four different areas which I’ll cover in this post. Each is spread along the coastline and has different benefits. With guidance from this post, I’m sure that wherever you end up in Limassol, you’ll have an excellent time.
Limassol is a cosmopolitan city, full of amazing restaurants, beach bars, and cafes. No matter where you stay, you’ll always be close to something great.
I spent around 4 months exploring the best Limassol has to offer, and had the best time being captivated by this beautiful Cypriot city. It’s so hard not to fall in love with the laid-back, relaxed vibe, friendly people, sandy beaches, and amazing food.
But to start, you need to book your accommodation in Limassol. Rental costs can be fairly expensive, with the Marina being the most expensive place to stay. Read on to find out about the best Limassol apartments and accommodation in Limassol.

It’s rare to find houses or villas in Limassol just a few steps away from the sea, let alone in the middle of the lively neighbourhood of Germasogeia. The majority of the accommodation in Limassol centre consists of apartments; this Airbnb in Limassol is a real treat.
This lovely home is fully equipped, and boasts fast WiFi, a smart TV with free Netflix, and air conditioning in every room, (which is a bonus in the summer months). There’s also a washing machine, dishwasher, and fridge freezer so you can really settle in.

14. Lovely Modern Villa in an Ancient Village
This is one of the best Limassol Airbnb villas for a family stay as it’s within a short drive of Limassol centre and its beaches. This great villa is located in the nearby town of Pareklissia, northeast of Agios Tychon; a beautiful, authentic Cypriot village.
Pareklisia is quiet, but has a few local tavernas and is located just a 5-minute drive from the nearest beach. It’s also just 15 minutes from Limassol centre and is one of my favourite villas in Limassol.
This spectacular, spacious villa has three bedrooms with a private balcony off of the main bedroom, and shared balconies across the other two rooms.

15. Beautiful Two Bed Apartment with Incredible View of the Sea
This Limassol Airbnb has the most amazing view over the water. The only thing separating the apartment block from the water is the complex’s garden path and some rocks – it’s completely unspoilt. You can walk down the side of the building, and be swimming in the sea within minutes.
This two-bedroom flat comes with a double bed and two singles, but there’s also a sofa bed in the living area. All of the appliances and furnishings are really modern, and there’s a washing machine in the apartment too.
The balcony is huge in this Airbnb in Limassol. Not only does it have two sofa chairs and a table, but it has a couple of sun loungers too. If it gets too hot, there’s an electric awning to provide some much-needed shade.
My favourite thing about this Limassol Airbnb is that beach towels and a cool box is provided in the summer months, so you can take some chilled refreshments to the beach! You can read more about this amazing accommodation in Limassol here.
Best Areas to Stay in Limassol (Neighbourhoods)
Here’s a breakdown of the best areas to stay in Limassol.
Old Town and Limassol Marina
The Old Town and Limassol marina are located in the east of Limassol. The marina is where you’ll find luxury accommodation in Limassol including the waterfront Airbnb Limassol villas. You’ll find more affordable places to stay closer to the Old Town.
The marina, (both the old and new), has a great selection of bars and cafes. Here you’ll enjoy some great food in a luxury setting with a view over the harbour and sea. I recommend having a drink in Bar du Soleil – one of my favourite bars in Limassol.
The Old Town is the historic centre of Limassol. You’ll find lots of great Limassol Airbnbs here, and the bars in this area are more relaxed, in comparison to the more upmarket options in the marina.
If you love to shop, you’ll enjoy being close to this area as it’s here that you’ll find the main shopping street, Anexartias Street.
If you’re planning on staying in the Old Town, I recommend this amazing rustic retreat with a retractable roof feature, for a truly unique stay.
Germasogeia
Germasogeia is the neighbourhood in the middle of the Limassol Coast. It’s located between the Old Town and Marina, and the tourist area of Agios Tychon.
It’s a really fun and lively neighbourhood and is the best place to stay for nightlife in Limassol. If you want to experience a real Cypriot night out, you should go to Rumours Bar which is where many locals spend their Friday and Saturday nights.
It’s also a great place for families and couples as everything you need is on your doorstep, whilst also being large enough to accommodate a larger group. This Limassol Airbnb is also far away enough from the nightlife to ensure you all get a good night’s sleep.
Dasoudi Beach is the best beach in the area, but take note that it doesn’t have any sun loungers other than those that can be hired from some of the beach bars. One great option is NOA Beach Bar, where you’ll pay €2.50 each for a parasol and lounger.
Germasogeia is a great all-rounder and is a great location for visiting the surrounding neighbourhoods. If you want to stay in this area, I recommend this gorgeous beachside house.
Agios Tychon
Agios Tychon is known as the tourist area as it’s where you’ll find the majority of the big luxury hotels like the Four Seasons. It’s in this area that you’ll find the cleanest, widest, sand beaches.
Agios Tychon is located on the west of the island, and is around a 15-minute drive to the Marina. It’s great for families, couples, and friends looking to enjoy the beach and relax.
My favourite thing about Agios Tychon is the beach path. You can walk right along the coast for miles on a path built right next to the sea and away from the road. It’s so relaxing and very scenic. Stop for a coffee at Armonia Café and enjoy the view of the sea – be sure to stop and pet the local cats!
There are some fantastic bars and restaurants in the area, some right on the beach, and some on the main road, but there are some really first-rate options to choose from.
The Limassol Villages
Based in the Limassol District, but away from the coast in the mountains, are the villages of Pareklisia, Pyrgos, and Pentakomo.
The villages are perfect for those looking to experience traditional Cypriot life, whilst being close to the city. The villages are very quaint, quiet and relaxing, and you can rent some amazing villas in Limassol here.
All of the villages are located to the east of Agios Tychon, next door to each other, heading towards the Limassol/Larnaca district border. Pareklisia is the closest to the tourist area, followed by Pyrgos, and then Pentacomo.
All of the villages are well connected to the beaches and to the main neighbourhoods of Limassol by car. You can get to the beach within 5 – 15 minutes by car.
The closest beach is Malindi Beach, a lovely sand beach with a great restaurant, Malindi Beach Bar. It’s very popular with locals so I recommend making a reservation if you plan to visit. Governor’s Beach, known for its dazzling white limestone rocks is also close by.
If you’re staying in Pareklisia, I recommend the lovely modern Limassol Airbnb villa.
Now You Know The Best Limassol Airbnbs
Limassol is quite a big city, and it’s not a place where you can easily walk between neighbourhoods due to the distance. It’s important that you get the area right for you and your party, particularly if you’re not renting a car.
Luckily, all of the neighbourhoods offer amazing restaurants, bars and beaches, all with different feels to them.
I hope this post has helped you figure out which neighbourhood you want to stay in, and that my Limassol Airbnb recommendations help you plan a truly incredible trip.
