Andile Mpisane takes jab at critics: ‘Money DOES buy happiness’

Andile Mpisane is confirming something many critics have said repeatedly about him: “money can buy you happiness”. The Royal AM chairman, whose mother is millionaire businessman Shauwn Mkhize aka “MaMkhize”, had South Africans confused and amused when he joined the team as a player in a soccer match on Sunday.

But to add insult to injury, the amapiano hitmaker took the title of “captain” too.

ROYAL AM ‘CAPTAIN’  MAKES HIS SOCCER MATCH DEBUT

Andile Mpisane took to the field unexpectedly in a match against Kaizer Chiefs on Sunday at the Free State Stadium as part of the Macufe Cup.

The chairman of the club took on the role of captain as he was seen on camera running across the field. Wearing a number 10 jersey, Andile seemingly snatched the title away from Royal AM captain Samuel Manganyi.

But as anticipated by soccer fans, Andile Mpisane didn’t make much of an impact. Instead, he was seen on camera running across the field as he desperately tried to make contact with the ball.

Nevertheless, Royal AM won the match 4-2 against Kaizer Chiefs.

ANDILE MPISANE REACTS TO CRITICISM

But whilst Andile Mpisane has tried his hand at music, management and now professional soccer, tweeps were not impressed.

In fact, many believe that his mother MaMkhize’s money and influence had much to do with his career moves

On his own Instagram account, Andile Mpisane posted messages of support for his pledging stint as a professional soccer player.

He also reposted a message from a follower which read: “Money can buy happiness”.
